‘Fuck It’ marks the South London sibling duo’s explosive debut on Mute.

The track introduces PUNCHBAG with a sweeping rush of entrancing synths and piercing beats. Clara’s vocals unravel the anxiety of wasted time as the instrumental momentum builds—until, just before breaking free, everything flips. Anders’ overdriven punk guitars crash in, and Clara’s delivery turns sharp, snippy, and unabashed:

This could be seen as PUNCHBAG’s manifesto, but as Clara clarifies, “It’s not nihilistic. It’s more about embracing the moment—we only have so much time, so do the thing you want to do. Kiss the person you want to kiss. Say what you need to say.”
